Gill Phillips’ mum, passed away peacefully on February 27 2014. Having celebrated her 95th birthday at home on Christmas Eve with family and friends, Lily was admitted to hospital suffering pneumonia and was then transferred to a residential care home.
Over the last 18 months, Lily had remained interested in her visitors, enjoyed board games and crosswords with them and was quick to notice any wrong moves in Snakes and Ladders!
She attended All Saints regularly, until she became too poorly, having a bright smile for everyone with whom she spoke. To read more on Lily’s life click here>>
